The Vicks vaporizer provides congestion relief for cold and flu. A heating unit is located at the top of the tank, and the steam is produced from a mixture of water and medicine. The vaporizer is designed to operate at night, but has a built-in sensor that shuts off the unit if the water level drops below 0.78 inches from the bottom of the tank. The unit should be emptied daily and cleaned regularly.

Instructions:
1. Remove the power cord completely. Lift the rear of the heating unit and turn counterclockwise, then up and out of the tank.
2. Fill the tank with water to the fill line "MAX" printed next to the tank.
3. Replace the hot air unit on the top of the tank and tighten the locking tabs on the seals. Turn hot air device clockwise to snap into place.
4. Put the vaporizing unit on a non-metallic, heat resistant base at least four feet of the patient.
5. Fill the cover on the front of the heating unit with the product recommended Vicks.
6. Then connect the unit to a wall outlet. The unit will turn on and the vaporizer will begin to operate. It is designed for a duration of 12 to 14 hours.
